Very nice report as always. An enjoyable read, especially regarding the missed Terminator deployment - we have all done that.

However I was a bit puzzled over the placement of BMs. On many occasions the text says "X" formation moves and shoots at "Y" formation, a single unit was destroyed and 3 BMs were placed. This should only be *2* BMs shouldn't it (one for shooting and one for the unit destroyed?

Also, in the 2nd turn, the Scions Heavy armoured formation attacked and destroyed some lancers while there were other AMTL formations nearby. I think these also ought to have received a BM for being 'in position' to support, even if they were not actually able to provide that support (in this case because the Lancers were destroyed in the assault). This would have destroyed the remaining AA unit

As ever, the use of these larger formations (made possible though the 5k army size) give food for thought for smaller games.

Thanks for the report, PFE. A quick note, the current list up on army forge has a typo, Custodians are 350 base, not 300. Simon has 2.2 ready to be pushed to the live site so it shouldn't be an issue once it's up.

thanks for another great AAR :)

any chance you could put a link to the Kinghts army list thread in the battle report so that the reader can look at it whilst reading the AAR, just so have a better idea of the stats, etc of the units being used? just a suggestion :)
