Setup:

Tau garrisoned fire warriors behind buildings on the left flank and Broadsides behind the hull in the centre of the board.

Most of the Tau army is setup on the center-left side of the board. The Deathguard set ups the bullk of it's forces on the right flank. Both plague towers guard te blitz and left flank.

Tau teleports in stealth suits in forest close to Deathguard Blitz.

TURN 1: Tau wins Initiative.

T: Tigersharks ground attack plague tower by Deathguard Blizt. 2DC is made (3BM).
T: broadsides retain initiative with the help of SC and sustain on plague tower by blitz, 2DC is made and the formation breaks.
D: Hellblades ground attack stealth suits for 1BM.
T: garrisoned fire warriors doubles into buildings in front of them on the lef flank.
D: hellblades ground attack hammerheads on right flank for 1BM.
T: Barracudas ground attacks plague marines (BTS) on right flank,1 rhino is destroyed (2BM).
D: plague tower engages stealth suits in forest, 3 stands are killed and no damage is done to te WE.
T: hammerheads on righ flank advances and fires on Blight drones, 2 drones die and the formation breaks.
D: plague marines marches down the right flank (i totally forgot about the no marching rule, but when i looked i couldn't find it in the new list anywhere).

Terminators teleport in behins fire warriors on left flank.
Stealth suits teleport in behind terminators on lef flank

TURN 2: Deathguard wins initiative.

D: terminators summon 5 demons and engages the fire warriors, they also choose to intermingle the crisis suits that are close by. The terminators wins the combat and wipes out the fire warriors completly. They loose 1 terminator stand and 1 demon stand.
D: plague marines on right flank retains initiative, summons 4 demons and engages hammerheads in front of them. They use the SC for this. The tanks are wiped out for no Deathguard losses.
T: tigersharks ground attack plague tower by Death guard blitz destroying it.
T: stealth suits retain initiative and sustains on terminators. No kills are made but the disrupt hits breaks the formation.
D: plague tower doubles towards blitz and fires on broadsides for 2BM.
T: Barracudas ground attacks plague marines on righ flank for 1 BM.
D: the 3 brave plague zombies engages hammerheads and wins the combat by 2! Father Nurgle is very pleased!
T: fire warriors advance to the Tau blitz and wipes out the plague zombies in a hail of pulsar fire.
D: hellblades ground atatck te broken criis suits on the left flank, killing 5 stands.
T: broadsides sustain on plague tower by blitz for 1BM.
D: hellblades stand down.
D: plague marines (BTS) holds and regroups, shedding all BM:s.
D: plague reaper marches towards centre of the board.

TURN 3: Death guard wins initiative.

D: hellblades ground attacks te crisis suits with the help of the SC. The formation is wiped out and the BTS objective is claimed for the Death guard!
T: tigersharks stand down.
D: plague marines (BTS) summons 5 demons and doubles to cover both forward DtF objectives.
T: broadsides holds and fires on plague tower for 1BM.
D: plague reaper doubles to the left and fires o. Hammerheads for 1BM.
T: stealth suits marches to Deathguard blitz.
T: Barracudas retain and go on CAP.
D: Plague tower engages stealth suits by deathguard blitz in a clipping assault. Te suits are wiped out for no damage on the WE.
T: stealth suits advances and fires on broken terminators but noing happens.
D: plague marines marches to tau blitz.
T: fire warriors by tau blitz holds and fires on plague marines, killing 2 rhinos (4BM).
D: hellblades ground attack hammerheads, does 1BM and breaks the formation.

My thoughts:

Well, as i stated earlier i forgot about the no marching rule. But when looking in steves post about the list i couldn't find any. Don't know if that rule is neccesary considering how slow this army is. Theres only the blight drones that can move fast and terminators that can teleport in. However, i don't think they should be allowed drop pods since it kinda negates their drawback of being slow. With drop pods i would use 3-4 retinues and just sit on objectives. Here game balance should be more important then the fluff.

EDIT: i must be blind, the no marching rule is there at the top of the post. FML.

Plague towers friggin rocks! Can't really see why the 25 points drop or the increase of movement by 5 cm:s is really needed? A 6DC 4+RA WE with 4+ in CC and FF AND fearless is a great objective guard!! For 300 points i'll be fielding 3-4 of them in any list. 2 of them in 1 formation gurading the blitz (and being the BTs objective) on OW and the other two guadring each of the 2 forward DtF objectives. Good luck claiming them! I reallythibk they should be kept at 15cm move and maybe even at 325 points.

Terminators are good but being only 4 makes them easy to break with BM:s. Wouldn't leave home without 1-2 formations of them though.

Blight drones i didn't have a chance to try out since they got broken early in the game and remained so every turn.

This army is slow, really hard to kill and so far very fun to play!

If the game would have continued i think it would still have been a draw by turn 4 and then i'd probably would have won on points.
Äthis list and the knight world o e is my favourite ones at the moment! Will be battle reporting both as much as i can!
