Thoughts on Death Guard List - not being able to march is hard! Plague Towers - what are they good for?
How do you fight a Warlock, Phantom and Revenants with these guys? :sos

Nice report. Your right about eldar titans, especially those fitted with Holoshields. I normally play as SM and against eldar I either avoid the titans or throw a lot of fire at them to break the Holoshields then teleport in Termies and go toe to toe. I have said several times on here (and been shot down) that SM need a TK weapon

Crossfire works really well, as I've learnt to my dismay. A 3+/5+ save is a lot less impressive when reduced to a 4+/6+ save...

Yes I went for avoiding them for the most part. I was aiming to assault the Phantom with Termis but it managed to run away before I could get to it. Managed to assault Revenants with Termis (and Daemons) but they survived unfortunately. Cheers.

LOL Nothing 12 Land Raiders couldn't handle I think :) No one ever thinks of the Land Raiders! :'( :D

The cost of 12 land raiders would be restrictive.....

Against Eldar Titans, volume of fire is more important than strength of shot.

Mathhammer, comparing a Volcano Cannon to a Battle Cannon or Twin-linked Lascannon firing at a Holo-fielded Eldar:

1x MW2+ TK(D3)
5/6 * 1/3 * 2 = 0.555 Dmg/Shot

1x AT4+
1/2 * 1/3 * 2/3 = 0.111 Dmg/Shot

So, two and a half Land Raider would be able to put out as much damage as a Shadowsword.

Same calculations, now assuming crossfire:

1x MW2+ TK(D3)
5/6 * 1/2 * 2 = 0.833 Dmg/Shot

1x AT4+
1/2 * 1/2 * 5/6 = 0.208 Dmg/Shot

The lighter weapons benefit more from the crossfire bonus; Two Land Raiders will do as much damage as a Shadowsword. Being a faster platform, they would probably be able to get into a crossfiring position easier.

TL;DR: Against Eldar Titans, I don't think Marines need any weapons they don't already have.
