Mostly for statistics (and to show a few pictures):

Lots of Zzap-Ork dakka managed to kill a Warlord, in addition to the usual Warhound casualties, so the game ended in an ork Win (They Shall Not Pass and Take and Hold).

Victorious Ork team - first to take a Titan Legion scalp (around these parts).

Lists were:

AMTL
Warlord, 2x Quake, Deathstrike, CLP, CML, SC
Warlord, Volcano, Gatling, 2x TLD, Legate
Warhound, TLD, Plasma
Warhound, TLD, Megabolter
Warhound, Plasma, Megabolter
Sentinels
Marauders
2x Thunderbolts

Orks (from memory
Great Gargant, SC
7x Big Blitz Brigade (8), Flak, Zzapgun
1x Blitz Brigade (4)
Fighta-bommas, +3

The win was perhaps a tad lucky, since my second warlord took a critical hit in turn 3 and promptly exploded, leaving me with no units on his half of the table. I was so very close to killing the Great Gargant too - it was down to 3DC...

But hey, it proves that the AMTL can lose :o

Heh,

How did the Ork player do overall? I've been tempted by a list like this ever since I played teh Computer game, but no one seems to rate Gunwagons very highly.

Won 2 of 2 games, so a 100% success rate so far :)

Oh yes. A Big Blitz Brigade with a Zzap gun is perfectly capable of one-shotting a Warhound :(

i had never thought of a completly mechanized blitz army. now i have some idea's to ponder upon since i have probably 15,000 points of orks and i don't know how many actual battle wagons and gun wagons i actually own... almost to many to easily count. I figure that even at ant tank 6+ your gonna hit something and that is a lot of dice in close combat regardless if they are vehicles or not.
*oh the ideas i have now for my eldar player*

and i love the terrain... nice work on the table.
