Strategy Roll: Eldar Titan Legion
The Nightwings brave the Imperial flak umbrella to hit the Deathstrikes. One Eldar craft is struck down… and they place a Blast marker on the missile launchers.
Shaken by this unexpected attack, the Deathstrikes are reassured of the purity of their purpose by the Supreme Commander and they sustain fire with a single missile at the Eldar Warlock… and miss!
The Lunar Cruiser arrives and manages to bombard Ranger Troupe A, killing a Ranger, and fires on the Warlock hunkered down in the woods… AND MISSES!
F-Troupe goes on overwatch, safely ensconced in the Cathedral.
B-Troupe marches forward into the cover of ruins.
Hydra Battery 2 advances and fires on B-Troupe, scything down a single Ranger unit.
C-Troupe marches to Imperial Objective 2 to resecure it after B-Troupe’s departure.
The Infantry Company sustains fire on A-Troupe… and scores no hits.
A-Troupe marshals into a better position and clears all their Blast markers.
Rough Riders 3 then engage B-Troupe… they lose two Rough Riders to fire, but manage to beat back three Rangers through sheer bloody-mindedness.

The Revenant advances and discorporates a Rough Rider unit and breaks Rough 3.
The Regimental HQ doubles to fire on A-Troupe, roll about twenty attacks… and scores no hits.
Rough Riders 2 fail to get their charge on and just move into a new position.
The Phantom Titan makes a hit and run attack, moving forward on a double to kill two Infantry from the Reg HQ before moving behind some trees on the nearby hill.
Rough Riders 1 try to capitalize on an Eldar error as they engage the intermingled A-Troupe and Phantom Titan in a clipping attack… which immediately goes pear-shaped as three Rough Riders go down and no Eldar are even injured… the Commissar is the only one left to fall back to think about how he’s failed the Emperor.

E-Troupe doubles forward to put a Blast marker on the Reg HQ.
Hydra Battery 1 winds up taking a hold action and clears its Blast marker.
The Warlock cautiously advances, trying to stay out of any easy lines of fire for the Imperial long-ranged weapons.
Needing to maximize their linear travel, the Tank Company doubles *through* the forest to get into a position to fire on the Phantom. Three Russes get bogged down before the survivors get to do 1DC damage to the tall Eldar walker.
The Shadowswords have to do the same thing, doubling through ruins to get a line of sight on the Revenant. No tanks are damages and a single hit manages to do 2DC damage and a critical which knocks down the Titan’s Holofield… woot…
End of TurnTroupes A and B fail their Rally tests.
And only the Regimental HQ makes its rally test for the Imperials.
