First game with TRC on vassal.
I used a pretty experimental AM list.  The theory was to test if the Warlord-Tech Lord transporter could be stopped from taking the T&H objectives (with its 20 FF attacks and shields etc etc).  While the rest of the army hides/holds blitz/shoots stuff.  TRC played his "tourny-style" orks.

Like TRC I am just going to summarise this one.
Turn 1 Ork win initiative
Gunzmobs garrison on OW.
The supagun-wagons double forward, and drop a template on the warhound, and then use the second template to swing around the cover and BM all the AM except the Warlord. (
Drat, didn't see that coming was my thought )
The ork boyz jump from cover to cover defending the ork half of the table.
The rest of the ork army rushes forward. Fighters take out a DSM, three double and zapp hits in a row break the warhound
The AM struggle to activate their BM'd formations and in turn manage to kill a few skorkas with artillery and the Titans combined to wipe out the supa-wagons. The cruiser strips 6 powerfields but the broken DSM were never to rally again.
The doubling warlord is targeted by a gunzmob... who take down all void shields in one volley.
Turn 2
The gargant charges forward attempting to replicate the supa-wagons trick.  It manages to lay a fair number of BMs.  This forces the warlord to engage the gargant, the warlord wins (but takes more damage than the gargant, including a critical), the gargant rushes forward broken.
The best moment of the game (from my perspective) happnened in this turn.  TRC's KOS engaged the skitarii, now he could have just moved all his guys into range and "had at", but instead performed an elaborate clipping assault.  But, much to my amusement, I noticed he had in fact "out clipped" me, by only engaging 2 of my skitarii he could only balance out the +2 the skitarii had for numbers and BM, and then one of the two doomed skitarii manage to kill a buggy, and the KOS end up lossing badly.
Take that clipping assaults! The gunzmobs continue to put the hurt on the Warlord, a zap blitz finishes the warhound (aren't orks suppossed to miss sometimes?).
Turn 3
Alas the gargant rallies (dispite a brave skitarii unit that was moved to within 30).
The Gargant can't quite reach the AM blitz so settles for doubling in and spreading more BMs.
The Skitarii manage to enage and destroy a blitz brigade contesting the AM blitz.
The Warlord crushes one set of big guns (unloading the tech lord and skitarri as its low on DC).
The other continues to pummel the warlord.... that blows up at the end of the turn from a crit.
AM concede 1-0 (BTS), as Turn 4 the gargant would have the AM blitz and the boyz/KOS DTF at least.
TRC threw my battle plan into chaos with his first activation, then proceeded to wreck things with orky firepower (I think vassal was programmed by the orks and its baised towards them ÂÂ

 ).
In general though actually using the AM army made me less intimidated by its powerful array of tools.  Because for a great part they are IG, without commisars, so BMs and activating is a real issue.  That said if I'd won initiative and got to shoot my DSMs that whole game could have gone differently.
