World Eaters win initiative
- Terminators(2) engage Dark Reapers and wipe them out losing 1 themselves.
- Doom Blaster retains and fails activation. Under Blood Rage rule, shoots at the Swooping Hawks(1) at -2 (-1 Blood Rage, -1 cover) for no hits and 1 BM
- Warlock Doubles and shoots at daemon Assault Engines killing 1 Cauldron of Blood
- Shining Spears(2) retain and engage Daemon Assault Engines. Daemon Assault engines counter charge and both Death Dealers die due to dangerous terrain tests !! Ensuing combat sees lone Cauldron of Blood dying.
- Terminators(1) double to offer support to Doom Blasters and fire on Swooping Hawks(1). No hits.
- Hellblades attempt to retain and fail to activate so stand down
- Swooping Hawks(2) Fail to activate and Marshall
move towards Doom Blasters.
- Strike Cruiser enters the battlefield. Pin Point attacks Warlock and causes 3 wounds and a critical removing its holofield projector.  Then it deploys the Dreadclaws.
Points of Dreadclaw entry. Blue marker is the marker point. Yellow counters are the 2 drop points. The objective counter is where the orbital bombardment hit with nothing being effected.

After Dreadclaws land – Salute proudly supplied by Morgan

- Berserkers(2) retain the initiative, summon 5 Bloodletters and Engage the Warlock titan for the BTS. Combat ensues. Warlock kills 5 World eater bases and 2 Bloodletters before being taken down by savage Bloodletters. Berserker(2) become broken and double to city block towards own BTS.
The summoning - substitute Daemons for the Bloodletters (I really need to do some glueing)

..and the Charge (notice the brave Blood Lord at the back trying to survive the inevitable FF salvo).

- Swooping Hawks(1) Engage Berserkers(1) in a fire fight. Berserkers lose 1 model and the combat to no Swooping Hawk losses.
Rally Phase
- Nightspinner(1) fail to rally
- Berserkers(2) Rally and then break again after daemons disappear (stupid rule!!)
- All other units successfully remove BM or Rally
End of Turn 2
Turn 3Eldar win initiative.
- Swooping Hawks(2) double towards Terminators(1) & Doom Blasters
- Shining Spears(1) Engage Terminators(1) and Doom Blasters as an intermingled formation in a clipping firefight. 2 Terminators die to 1 Shining Spear. Intermingled formation loses combat. Doom Blasters double towards own Blitz. Terminators jump into back end crater.
- Hellblades GA Nightspinners(2) wiping them out.
- Swooping Hawks(1) Engage Berserkers(1) in a firefight killing 4 and losing 1. Berserkers(1) break and double back towards Blitz.
- Terminators(2) Engage Nightspinners(1) wiping them out and consolidating to Blitz
- Shining Spears(2) Engage berserkers(2) and kill 1. Blood Lord survives (this move lost the Eldar player the game as they were meant to head towards the Blitz and gain 2 objectives in the process.

In Hindsight- Looking back, first turn, the Doom Blasters should have acted before the Terminators. The resulting combat could have been quite different.
- The Eldar made a huge tactical error not using Shining Spears(2) to gain the Blitz. This was partly due to a phone call he had in the middle of his turn, and the eagerness to kill the Blood Lord. We did decide to play it out again by allowing  Shining Spears(2) to get Blitz and Take & Hold. Turn 4 ended with 1-1 Draw. Eldar won on casualties as the World Eaters really had nothing but their BTS and Hellblades left.
