Fair question, but at least in my mind, not comparing apples to apples.
I suspect that nobody ever made a big deal about them before because I know I never took more than two formations in my lists. The other heavy hitters were more attractive for their points. So the likelihood of Crisis really standing out (other than the MW issue) was less likely. In my case, my Crisis formations were primarily used for batting clean up on other hurt formations. I never tried to build a battle plan around a larger number of them. Maybe others did. Right now, I don't recall seeing any batreps where a large number of the 1+ formations were taken. I could be wrong, but nothing comes to mind right now.
So, now that some of those other point draws are gone, it's much more likely that more than say, 3 crisis formations could be present in a list. I want to be sure that isn't an issue.
