It is however all academic as when you don't hit much, they make a lot of saves and you don't, there is not much you can do :)

(re the clips, with the tight deployment the chosen after countercharge would get 4 bases in range I reckon, unless you used other units to draw them in the wrong direction - another reason for using flappy DP's as they could draw other formations in.)

Thats the point I was suggesting from the teleported Termies, stopping any possible counter charge as the 2 in range of the Reaver would have to go to it and all others would be nearer the Termies preventing them from getting involved without being out of coherency.
As for the 10 cm countercharge of the winged DPs the opponent should be taking this into account when positioning the termies(during teleport)and the Reaver(after its engage move)as players would when considering positions of troops whilst setting up any support for assaults or the assaults themselves.

Although when things go as wrong for players(armour saves and attack rolls etc.) as they looked to have gone in the report I don't think it would matter what was attempted or how well things are set up. :oo:

1 in every 3 or 4 of our games (if not more) must see a player(usually Bill)be on +3 or +4 for an assault and then roll double 1 whilst the opponent manages to roll a 6.
