I've been trying to use them as a prep-then-support type formation, the extra tanks definitely made them quite a bit more resilient and unlike most marine tank formations they can take a couple of losses and still be pretty useful

after the EEC is done and dusted, I'll look to get some games in with IF and the EC, I've got a few ideas on tweaks I'd like to make to the list, does that reset the playtest count? I'm a little unclear on how major changes need to be to affect the path to approval :)

It would reset the count, but for the past three lists we've accepted changes when submitting for approval (e.g., I put the Knight list forward with the addendum that the Custodians be +25 points from what we tested them at).

I agree that this would be a great use for them. I'll try that out next time I take the list out for a spin.

I used to use vindies and bikes like that a few years back. That was when they were useless and never taken. ::)
