Looks amazing! Sad there were no necrons fielded, I would really liked to see how the performed.
Atension,
We had three Necrons at Castle Assault in October, one placed 3rd and the others were well down the list of 18. I think the results in that tournament soured peoples interest in the list. Additionally I think it is like Marines, you need to know the army well to perform well. I am sure you will see them pop up in events throughout the year Down Under. We have another 4 or 5 tourneys to go for the year.
I think if the alternate list gets to developmental we will see an increase in Necrons on the table, the different style it has the potential to generate and the chance to do something new will get the guys playing it.
Cheers
Aaron
Looks like it did pretty well. 3 players out of 16; one 3rd, one 4th and one 11th. That's pretty respectable considering first and second were eldar and ATML respectively. Eldar usual does quite well and the ATML are also quite a potent list.
Really looking forward to hearing all about the next tourney they sound like great fun and all the pics look spectacular.
Hoping to put together a smaller tourney in Canada this year, likely only draw 8-10 players but it will be fun all the same.
Looking forward to interest in the new list, will do my best to make it fun and competitive. Input always appreciated! Defiantly hope I can generate some renewed interest.
Cheers,
Garett
