I guess for me it's a combination of small differences and better clarity that make a noticeable difference - for eg. under flak suppression, we used to play that only units that could fire at aircraft were suppressed ie. 1 firestorm in a fm with 1BM = suppressed flak. The compendium FAQ make it clear that all units with LOS to the aircraft can be suppressed, so in that scenario (which occurred in this game), flak could fire. So I guess that's not so much of a rules difference but a better clearer written version of the same

Also, wraithguard with RA = kick ass. Now I don't have to take wraithlords for my assault guardians to gain an RA shield or have to worry about getting into CC to use their nasty attacks, I can just use wraithguard instead
