A few posts back, I alluded to the noise marines needing transport. How do they get around the battlefield? The answer, like most things 40K universe-wise, lay back in the mists of time, during the siege of Terra. We all know that while less enlightened traitor legions were off doing silly things like trying to kill the Emperor, the Emperor's Children were doing yeoman service, roving the planet gathering data on the effects of specially derived combat drugs and sonic stimulation. Once the subjects of this most important research became scarce, the noise marines had to resort to other methods, including offering incentives to the citizenry:
These ancient pict-feed grabs show the early examples of such efforts:

The EC's "sketchy van" corps was born!
Only the most gullible of imperial citizens fell for such crude measures, so as the siege wore on, their markings and upgrades grew more advanced:

Truly excellent examples of 31st millennium engineering and coolness. Many a Terran was lured to his/her doom by the mere sight of these machines. When the EC fled to the eye of terror, some of the sketch van corps survived the long retreat.
Therefore, two of my noise marine upgrades will be transported in sketchy vans (rhino proxies):

These are micro machine ambulances (GHQ n-scale vans, while perfect style-wise, were just too big - more landraider size than rhinos), with a noise marine on the base for flavor.
