Here's a pic of my T/hawks in flight(at dawn, based on how the camera took the pic !?)                                                                                                  The Flight Lead is the E40K Bird, then 2 SM2 T/hawks, 2 Thunderbricks and finally a pair of my own creation - the ThunderDUKW ...  :vD                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Ã‚ Close up of my T/DUKWs                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Made from a BT Ciceda Mech ...  8v)

What makes this mini interesting is that it is the first version of the current Thunderhawk design. GW made a metal 40k version of this model (not more than a handfull ever made IIRC) that was later used as the basis for the E40k version.

I just dug up the article in WD 196 on the eleven, 5+ kg(  :sus:  ) 40K scale models that were produced and it talks about how they started initially with an enlarged drawing of the Epic scale model.

That is quite a size difference between the SM2 & E40K models.  Could it be that the current T-Hawk is, erm, part of the GW "truescale" conspiracy!?!

Thanks Boyz !  I do have an Epic Museum of sorts ... my War Room/Office/Work Station in my house.  The walls are covered with shelves filled with display cases full of 18 years worth of Epic ... :vD
