Does anyone know if EpicA will have some kind of rules for walls and fortifications such as E40k did in Firepower issue 4? I am curious, because I have a number of wall, gatehouse, tower, and fortification pieces that I constructed, and would like to use them.

The E-A rules list Fortifications, Buildings, Ruins & rubble on the Terrain Effects Chart. ? All the pieces of terrain you mentioned I have and from what I see you should have no problem using them, in any rule system ... ? I also have all the issues of Firepower, so I know of what you speak.

Hi!
Siege scenarios are one of those aspects of epic gaming I enjoy the most and have collected a lot of pieces of terrain because of it. I hope Epic A can make detailed rules for such warfare.

There are a couple of fan suggested rules over on the playtesres forum, and one of the EoT scenario had special rules for hardened bunkers and weapons platforms too.
Hope that helps!

A couple of the training scenarios also include stat lines for bunkers.
I can already see a consolidated set of fortification rules being in Epic Mag, and probably in the first "Annual."

Per Jervis late last week, it will be started up again after the release.

Umm...... there might actually be a problem there.
It is being seriously considered now skipping the various mags, there Jervis talks about it on the EPICentre.
I personally think it is a great idea but I am not sure how it will work for people who are owed issues - there substitute newsletter was rather short term and not an ideal replacement.

While I can see why they may wish to do that (some of the BFG mags are very thin on content) I cant see epic stacking up against the other systems in vying for space in a combined mag or in WD apart from a few small articles. Certainly not to the level articles went to in the old Epic one...

So much for my 6 issues ... and $ ... Just another case of wait and see and wait and see, etc., etc., etc.,

..Come on guys, less of the doom & gloom...
A link to what Jervis said...http://www.netepic.org/INCOMIN....&sid=18 Personally I think a combined magazine would be great, since I've basically stopped playing 40k and don't play fantasy.. I'd definitely buy it to get Necromunda, BFG and Epic rules and info, especially if it is going to be in full colour! I'd guess if it were made in WD size that there would also actually be more room to fit articles into as each one would be around 90-odd pages...

So much for support.... | For a man who wants new models, You should be quite pleased with the selection they have under way for the first release - Dont know what I can say so I will resist the temptation, but suffice to say that there is some good stuff coming (and nicely painted too )
