If you are using the Epic-UK lists these are my answers, if not ignore them.

Thousand Sons.
If the Sons upgrade a Caball to a Warlord, they keep the ability to summon and gain the bonuses for the warlord (supreme comman etc), if they are again upgraded to a demon prince, do they lose the summoning?
I've assumed not (surely the DP is a mighty sorcerer...), but actually on checking the rules it seems that the DP doesnt have summoning and replaces as opposed to joins the unit. This makes upgrading to a DP a significant dissadvantage to the Sons in comparison to other legions.
As it stands, they would lose summoning (unless the Daemon Prince is in with the Terminators who can add Daemonic Pact).
This has already been brought up by players and I believe will be looked into on the next Chaos review by Epic-UK committee.

Transport Skimmers
If a transport has double its wound capacity of units in close combat with it, the troops inside cannot exit. Is this the same for a skimmer? (even though the skimmer could choose to fire fight). This created much discussion about troops exiting skimmers, jump packs, and all round madness.
It is still the same for a skimmer, troops are pinned inside. This is covered in the official FAQ for skimmers forcing FF.

Q: If a Skimmer uses its ability to force units in base-to-base contact with it to use their FF ability are the units considered to be no longer in base-to-base contact?
A: No. The ability does not change the status of the units. So even if the Skimmer uses its FF value in the assault the Skimmer and any units that were in base-to-base with it are still considered to be in base-to-base.

Tyranids.
Do tyranids with teleport need to take the dangerous teleport test? Nothing says they don't, but the army list also says that teleport is being used for ease, taht effictively they are burrowers, and taking into account the tyranid normal ease over terrain, this seems harsh.
Yes they would roll for BM's as normal for teleporting, rolling for BM's whilst teleporting isn't anything to do with terrain. They would not need to roll for dangerous terrain if the" FAST AND SLITHERING " rule applies to them.

FAST AND SLITHERING
Tyranid creatures can cover terrain very easily. Tyranid war engines, armoured vehicles and light vehicles do not have to take difficult terrain tests, they are assumed to automatically pass them. Impassable terrain is still impassable to them.
Infantry teleprting into rivers,Marshes and Razor Wire would still have to take dangerous terrain tests.
