Rory the Reaver goes out to play, armed with three laser burners. He engages a nearby big ork mob and barges in to contact 12 of them.

He has 6 all round attacks, 8 CC attacks in his forward arc and 4 CC attacks in a fixed forward arc.

Would he need to roll 3 separate pools of CC attacks, two only able to hit orks in the specific arc? Or (so long as he has at least one enemy in each arc) can he roll a big pool of all the CC attacks and they be allocated to any models in contact? The WE assault rules say CC and FF attacks are allocated separately and CC hits can only be applies to models in base contact, but doesn't mention arcs.

I wonder if it'd be sort of akin to range stretching, where the weapons can attack so long as they have a valid target then hits are pooled and allocated without worrying about ranges for each.

Fire arcs are only mentioned in the shooting rules, personally I would just ignore them. It's complicated enough as it is, what with you being able to split between FF and CC.

By the way, the titan lists in the compendium make no mention of any fire arcs for the warhound/reaver/warlord weapon mounts.
