Hello all, my question is this:
A formation gets ZoC'd in two different directions by two different scout formations - if that formation decides to engage, is it obligated to engage the closer scout formation, or can it engage either formation? Or, must it only choose to move out of both scout formations ZoC? Thanks for any help with this.

You can certainly engage into a ZoC as long as you're engaging the causer of the ZoC.
In your specific example, as long as you're moving out of the other scout ZoC, you can engage the first scout formation.
