A random question.
Devestator formations are noted as being allowed the 'Land Raider' upgrade, which states "one to four land raiders" for 75pt each.
Does this mean you can add four land raiders to a Devestator formations?
The Army Forge Builder (
http://traitor-legion.appspot.com/choos ... dex_EPICUK) enforces a maximum of two land raiders - for which I cannot find any reference.
On reading the Marine Transport Special Rule:
To work out a formation’s transport
• Add any infantry upgrades to the formation.
• Add Land Raiders to the formation.
• Add Razorbacks to the formation, up to the number of Infantry units not transportable by Land Raiders.
• If there are still infantry units in the formation without transport add the minimum number of Rhinos
required for all units in the formation to be transported
Importantly, when adding Land Raiders there is no mention of a limit based on transport capacity.
So can my list include the following formation?
Devestators + 4 Land Raiders for (250+300 = 550pt)
That would be an interesting break their spirit for the marines... I'd probably still take Terminators with Land Raiders for the extra 100pts, may be even both.
