Have any of you seen this miniature before? LOL

I don't think I'm willing to pay the asking price for it, but it would be a great miniature to have just for laughs.

I love the description: "Possibly not released as it was thought too silly, even for Orks."

I've known of it's existence but never seen one...it is a pretty silly design!

Yeah it was a "real" G/W Epic machination ... very rare ... and ... very silly/stupid ... :gah >:D If you cut the legs off it could be a cool turret for an Ork Battlewagon , or something... :whistle But not for $31 !!! :nooo :tut :geek

I don't know about too silly. I really miss the antics of the old 1st and 2nd edition 40k orks (which for the old crusties like me out there who can remember how that spilled over to epic back in the day). I find them too serious nowadays for my tastes. If you're going to go orks then go crazy I say. Not EA but in a similar "spirit"-> :)

I haven't actually Played the old 1es Orks, but I own all the books, and on occasion, I'll grab one and have a laugh at how much hilarity can be crammed into a damage table (o:

And yeah, both those things are definitely far within those sillyness frames ..

I remember in 2nd Edition all the weird rules of the Orks that could suddenly make your army go horribly, horribly wrong. There was the force field that was absolutely inpenetrable, but the odds of your vehicle blowing up increased each turn until you turned it off.

Then there was the rule about Weirdboyz being close to too many Orks.
"Where is your weirdboy?"
"Right here next to my huge mob of....... uh oh....
BOOM!

It made Orks very entertaining to watch and fun to play against.

Mind you, it also made me never want to play AS the Orks, unlike now when I'm collecting an Ork army. (I don't like when my army randomly explodes.) Still, they were very entertaining to watch and play against and did add an element of fun to the game.

Why yes; yes it could.

Stop that! You are going to make me bid on it, and it is too expensive!

Wow! :o

I was going to congratulate myself for having the willpower not to bid, but at that price any of my bids would have made no difference.
