If I have a unit of artillery using gun emplacements as their upgrade (vice a prime mover), is unit cohesion from the gun model or the emplacement model? The reason I ask is because with a prime mover model (Trojan) I could extend the line further between the guns using the Trojans as "extenders" since they are part of the unit.

Coherency is measured from the guns. You could extend the line with Trojans, but you'd lose the Cover Save without the Emplacements. In most cases the Emplacements are a better bet, I've found.

Yeah, I understand the Cover issue, I was just concerned regarding the size of the FW Emplacements. I haven't measured them yet, but it looks like they'll be sitting almost on top of each other.

It probably wont' matter, but it's worth keeping in mind that the emplacements have to be in coherency when you set them up as well.

I assumed that, but with the size, I don't think that will be an issue. Thanks.

Oh you're using the FW emplacements. That makes more sense. Yeah, having Emplcements with a width of more than 50mm + width of the model could be problematic. Not sure how I'd correct it.

I guess I'll play around with it. Worst case scenario, I'll have to make my own.

If you need to make some, I may have a usable solution:

Hey SG! Are those cast or did you hand craft them?

Those are casts of the original, which was hand made.
