I've bought myself a ticket for this one, part of my plan to attend more tournaments this year.

I know it's a long way off (for submitting lists), but I was a bit bored this evening and I started to struggle with how to put things together.

For those who perhaps went last year, any thoughts?

My current idea was a World Eaters (WE) army with three Lord of Battles, one in each component, the problem with 750 point groups is few things from the WE list fit in the remaining 350 points, I seem to end up with two identical reserve forces, which seems to be going against the point of the event.

Did people take two very different reserve forces, or were they typically very similar?

Might take another army instead of WE, not used my IG in a while.

what are the rules of the event?

You pick a 2000pt list and 2 750pt lists all from the same army.
Then 5 games
Game 1 escalating engagement with 2000 on table both 750s arriving later
Game 2 GT 2000 + 1st 750
Game 2 GT 2000 + 2nd 750
Game 4 GT All 3500
Game 5 GT All 3500

All list combinations have to be legal in terms of core/support + titan+air 3rd

Mt current idea is below... I'll be honest, I'm just trying to fit three lord of battles in - probably too few activations really.
Might have to wait for a 4k tournament to try this, just aren't enough cheap units to up my activation count (especially with the 2:1 support:retinue requirement and minimum 325pt retinue - need at least 2, probably 3, and then they need some extras).

Not sure this would be a fun army for the whole weekend, as amusing as it would be to have three LoBs.

Would love to go to the bristol event, but not sure of the free time/cost yet.
The same applies to going to Australia, though don't think I wasn't tempted...
