I meant how much can i moan about FW and not get shot down for being an anoying hump!
*shrug*
I consider myself a complete and total GW "fanboi", but that doesn't mean I can't spot poor quality goods and services when I see them.
Try a little moan, if you're curious, and see what gets said in response. I'm kinda curious to hear what you say actually.
I suspect you'll find most current Epic fans hold similar opinions to my own... they love the Epic hobby because it scratches a totally different (and less teenager-intended) itch than GW's 3 main games, and just wish they could buy loads of new Epic models from GW or FW.
We don't call GW the
"Evil Empire" here, at any rate. Absentee parent sitting dead on his throne, letting his once-great realm slide into entropy and oblivion, perhaps.

There are some german greatcoats with resperators couming up for release on Scotia Grendel in a month or two. I know what i'll be using them for! Looking for the next thing to proxy or convert is great fun, how i love the internet at lunch time.
I haven't seen those (no pictures on the website).

give the cash to the little companies I say.
I own a 40k scale Elysian Drop Troops army... so I believe in supporting quality (Well okay, some of my Elysians did come from a lucky eBay purchase), rather than just "the little guy". If the little guy also happened to make the best quality models, I'd probably buy from him instead.
GW or FW haven't had a great ammount from me lately for the Epic lines, as I can simply make better models than their current ranges in a lot of cases (I'm not great on biological infantry... yet, and a lot of FW's 6mm models are good or exceptionally good).

Epic scale tanks are oftain too small/ not realy to scale anyway.
Agreed on the scale thing.
Whenver I scratchbuild a version of a 40k model, I buy the 40k tank (or Titan) first and measure it, so I know it's the proper size.
Do things awesomely, or not at all, is ... well it's not my motto, but it could be!
