While that is a thought I prefer to do the opposite, sort of.
With which I mean that I'm cherry-picking!
Epic:SeedsofWar. Epic army lists and dice throwing with SoW rules.

Main differences are that A) suppression is on the die instead of number of dice, B) breaking is not automatic when fully suppressed and C) time is equal for all actions.

Ah but I'd like an incentive for them to give out models as prizes at EpicUK events (possibly with the condition that army has to be fielded at the next one :) ) :)

I'm unsure if they are interested in getting their work and worlds dragged into the "Empire of Mankind" universe.
And all of BM, GZG, DRM, EW, 15mm and CH are easily used for IG right of. The more exotic (like Space Marine etc) will be a bit of struggle thou.
But with the advent of FWC everyone is involved and happy...  :agree:

My Eldar/Necron/Tau armies are all going to be made from a combination of old Eldar Hover Tanks, and the Andraydan DRM line. Tau and Necron I wouldn't normally purchase full armies for, but with a few adjustments and additional figures, I get three armies for the price of one and a bit.

Never been a big fan of the Eldar infantry, so it all works out good for me.

probably a good idea w/ the eldar seeing as it would cost over $100 to get a minimal amount of just infantry

^ Thing is, once you have that minimal amount of infantry, you have pretty much all the infantry you'll ever need.

I certainly would have no issue with Guild / Khazari EA army lists :), especially if it meant I could field my Guild studio army as real Guild army and not a proxy IG army at the next tourney! Would give me an excuse to wield the Khazari too.

Splendid! 'Cause I've looked at how to field your Guild. Was lacking the MBT's for it thou.
But time for that is vaguely available <--- Edit.

Choice of 10 MBT variants now, and three heavy tank variants ;).

Only waiting for heavy artillery, close air support and ditto transport and... probably something more. Ah! Dang! It was a GUILD list to do, not a proxied Imperial Guard one. Gothca!

:|

We have 155mm self propelled artillery, anti air guns, multiple fire rocket launchers, and support mortars, thats just the motorised section :D. Along with that we have the support centuria (anti-personal guns, anti-tank guns, howitzers).

We have flame tanks, APC's (2 variants), IFV's (three variants), command tanks, tank hunters :D.

We are missing aircraft, but they'll come up eventually :), we'll have a multirole fighter-bomber and a heavy fighter (for ECM, Bomber, C&C And transport) in the design queue.

Three types of heavy tank.

And in the queue is of course the enormous Mobile Command and Siege Behemoth.

Even excluding the stuff in the queue we have a pretty comprehensive list ;), if you are interested, I can send you the preview stuff for our FWC lists :). Reminds me, I need to send a copy to Nick too :S, my memory is lame :D.

As Tom pointed out the Guild features a pretty hefty Motor Pool before the end of the year. (Please note that the names are not all set in stone :;): )

Super Heavy Tanks:

Enforcer (Standard Multi Role SHT)
Exterminator (Rapid fireing SHT)
Annihilator (Anti WarEngine Gun)

Tanks:

Achilleus MBT
Trident Tank Hunter
Hector IFV
Prometheus Flame Tank

Artillery:

Self Propelled Artillery Gun
Multiple Rocket Launcher
Cyclops Heavy Mortar
Icharus AA gun

APC:

Standard APC
Amphibious APC
Hoplon Halftrack APC
Scout/Command Tank

There's also the Guild Drop Pods, not to mention the 3 types of field artillery as well as the Prefect bikes.

Then there's the aircraft Tom mentioned and the Zeus behemoth land crawler.

Combined with the infantry there should be enough variety of stuff to form the core of a reasonably balanced army.

In fact, I reckon there is enough for a Legion Mobile Army and a Prefect Planetary Militia force. Especially taking into account our range of Guild infantry :D.
