Rules Question - Ork Fortress flips

So the fortress gets a critical and flips. Does it face int eh direction of its flip or keep its original facing, or change it to anything? And if its a choice, who decides?

Would have made a difference of two stands caught under it - they are big models!

We went with the most caught I think (which was also the direction of the flip).

Forgot it moved D6 as part of the flip. For consistency I'd say either maintains facing or front placed in direction of arrow rolled. Neither is stated in the rules for the crit effect. Maximise casualties sounds a bit controlled to me.

haha! Always looking for an edge! I'd say that the decision you made is very much in the spirit of the Epic Rules; much akin to how Barrage Templates must be worked out.

I suppose you could randomise both the direction and the facing.

I'd probably randomize or make it roll broadside in the direction moved (end facing perpendicular to the direction of travel).  After all, it probably flipped sideways rather than end over end.

That would have been even worse for TRC's Marnines!  Sideways on it would have hit some bikes too IIRC  :vD

In this case it might have gone end over end, as a landing craft landed on its nose!
