hi all, my local store has begun a specialist games night on sundays which we are planning on playing more epic in.

But what is the 'current' ruleset and army lists? also where are the links for downloading them?

For rules go to the GW site and the EpicA resources. There you will find the core rules and 2008 errata and FAQ. The netERC guys have provided GW with an updated rulebook that includes the 2008 changes and its rumored to be going online 'within weeks'!

No.  The Handbook is a completely unofficial fan project and many of the changes it includes were rejected in the official review.

The new rulebook docs integrate only the official changes, and were laid out in the same format as the original rulebooks with all the pics, background graphics, formatting and so on.
