Hi All

Sorry for asking but I cannot find it anywhere. Just had a game and came across this:

Warlord takes 3 FF hits and it takes out 3 void shields.

Does the enemy still count the 3 hits as successful or is it counted as the Warlord making its saves? It was important for the Combat Resolution

My thought was that seeing the warlord is untouched, the enemy cannot count the 3 hits, however my opponent states that 3 void shields are lost and therefore it would count.

It matters vs orks because all his injuries could be against gretchin which do not add to the combat resolution.

Thanks in advance

Hena is right. From Section #5 (in the army list part of the rules)
SPECIAL RULE
5.4.1 Imperial Void Shields

Imperial Titans are protected by void shield generators. The number of void shields each Titan has is noted on the Titan’s datasheet. Each void shield will automatically stop one point of damage and then go down. Do not make armour saves for damage stopped by void shields, nor allocate Blast markers. Once all of the shields have been knocked down, the Titan may be damaged normally and you may make saving throws against any hits that are scored. Hits from close combat ignore void shields but units using their firefight values must first knock down any shields before they can damage the Titan.
And from the Assault resolution table For each kill you have inflicted during the assault +1 So you get '+1' for each point of damage inflicted, not for each 'hit'. Also note that Void / Power shields do not protect against CC attacks, whilst Eldar Holofields may also prevent CC hits as well.

Yeah, that was me. It wasn't clear to me, and Grots explicitly say "don't count for Assaults", so it was my presumption.

Bad me.
