That FAQ talks about zones of control and indeed seems to be an FAQ rather than a rules change. While it clears up the issue regarding charging a unit through an extended ZOC how does it dispense with the scout intermingling issue?

The point of the 10cm intermingle was that scouts could do that. Then 10cm intermingle was proven to be very annoying on scouts point of view, that was put up instead.
The 10cm intermingle FAQ was in the pdfs and not in rulebook. That FAQ entry is no longer in the 2008 pdf.
Yeah, I noted what mephiston said about the errata being removed, so I deleted my response you just quoted there.
Personally I'm glad it's gone. It just wasn't clear that it had done. I just wanted to know what the score was and I was scrabbling around in the scouts sections of the FAQ and Errata to see what the score was.
