Hi,

The new siegemasters stuff is up in the GWUK website store.

Infantry box = ?20
Siegfried tanks = ?7
Arti Comp = ?7

Pretty much the cost we were all expecting.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

...And still no word werther the Siege infantry are metal or plastic? I really think the Core siege infantry is one horribly  over priced box! :(  If they'd doubled the ammount of infantry in there and simply re-used the current  plastic Longcoat IG then I think the price would have been acceptable but this is just a tad expensive IMO! :blues:

Cheers!

Hi,

Released on 5th, so not long to wait, which makes a nice change for advance ordering. I think I'll get a Siegfried blister and the arti blister, both for some nice Ork convershuns. :)

Its a shame that the infantry weren't seperate to the Rapiers/Thudd Guns, or available as bitz. Gonna have to keep an eye out for any old Thudds/rapiers on ebay, and just combine them with standard IG infantry.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Have we confirmed if the Seige Inf are the old Valhallans or something new entirely?

I have yet to hear a final, "for sure" answer.

If you find out a post would be much cool.

Will do - though the chance of me being first to find out down here would seem slim....

Well, I'll be ordering a pack or two of each of the Siege Army in Nov.    But by then someone should have the Infantry ... so let us know !  And tell us about the thud guns, etc., that comes with the Infantry pack ! :)

I had phoned yesterday lunch time and they had stock of it already so I am hoping mine arrives next week.  Apparently they were at one of the stands today at Gamesday UK but I wasnt sure and as I had ordered them I didnt think to check.  There was a lot more Epic minis on display this time than last year and the Eldar have been wonderfully painted!  I couldnt get pics of the Orks that were not shaky and as I didnt check I didnt retake them :(

Hi,

Taken from SG forum:

"And it was really good this year. There was some Epic stuff on pre-release to my delight, namely the Baran Seigemasters.
They had the Baran Infantry Company box, Baran Artillery blister pack, and seigfried blister pack. Pretty much everything except the Raganarok tanks.

There is some good news about the Baran Infantry company set, it is not ?20 as advertised in WD, but is in fact ?12. I was going to get 3 company boxes and thought it would cost be ?60, but ended up with 6 companies for ?72, I was very happy  I also got 3 artillery blisters, a blister of the seigfrieds and some other epic stuff (they had nearly the whole range of blisters and boxes there).

As for the models, I am not too keen on the seigfrieds, but the rest are great. The infantry models you get in the company box are metal. They are modfied from the plastic valhallans, with lots of gear on their backs, and a gas mask on their face. The command models you get are very nice, particularly the standard bearer and the preacher.

Not much info from the Fanatic Seminar. They showed a picture of the command pack models that are coming out at the end of the year. The Marine and Guard ones looked great. There were pictures of the feral ork stuff too, including the Steam Gargant. Most of the new stuff was on display in the SG cabinet in the studio area as well.

Lastly, the marine list in the Swordwind supplement is going to be the Ravenguard."

Some confirmation on the siegemasters, hopefully others will have seen them today too.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Thats VERY nice! :)  ?20 would simply have been ridiculous even by GW standards.  I'll probably get a company or two now. Also I'd really like to see some close up pics of the Infantry once people get them.

Cheers! :)

My friend Simon won't be too happy.

Originally told that the box was ?20 was quite chuffed when be went back to buy it to be only charged ?15.

If the box was only to be ?12...

I missed the siege stuff out only because I ordered them via mail order but if you look on the online store the infantry price has not been changed from 20 pounds.  I will be checking the prices when I receive the parcel.
