Once again, hanging around in the Epic Lounge on my own. If anyone wants a game (or finish one that's been started, Irondeath and Nicoch)?

Maybe we should all exchange Skype or Messenger account details so we can see who's online and hit 'em up for a game. It may be that several dudes are keen for a game, but that no one is in the Epic Lounge 'cause they don't think anyone else will be there. Vicious cycle.

"Problem" is, I´m in Cologne, and it´s carnival time, the "crazy days" are kicking off right now, ending Tuesday night, and this is a major event hereabouts, so current priorities are serious partying & skirt chasing!

A few months in the future, when I have free time again, I could be interested in trying this - especially if they add the Eldar in.

I am having trouble getting the pieces on the board. This is what I do:

I start vassal.
I open the Epic module.
I start a new game offline.
I select a setup e.g. "desert".
I join a Player 2. (There is no player 1 and observer can't be right?).
I can now easily open the models and the deployment area windows and drag models or terrain from the former to the latter.
I then click the icon marked as the "The Map".
All my controls are gone and there is only a window with a map that I can zoom in.

Am I missing something here? Do I have to do anything more with the map?

You should be able to simply move the map out of the way or shrink it as Hena says - the map window is entirely independent.

Ah got it. It seems I can't place my control window above the map window so I must move them around. Well it works now anyways. Thanks guys!

Honda: apologies for not turning up today, totally forgot I had a 3-hour endocrinology lecture I was meant to turn up to!
