Quote (Legion 4 @ 05 2003 Oct.,22:34) | And IIRC Jimbo you too are a fan of the E40K fire power system ?! | aye that's true
I have never played a game "out of the box" as there are too many things I may or may not like about various aspects.
For example I do not like "guess" weapons at all.

Yes Jimbo many of us "Alter Kampfers" see things in the same light ... "With age comes Wisdom ... hopefully" ! And I never even played SM1 out of the box, the first thing I changed was that we started using "activation" from game one. 12 years later Jervis and Co. made that change with E-A ... Works for me !

Quote (primarch @ 05 2003 Oct.,15:07) | Hi!
I wonder if between all of us we could must one million points in Imperial points alone? Certainly more imperial players than anything else.
Primarch | The biggest problem would be working out which points system to use. Epic, Net Epic, Epic40K or EpicA? Just too much choice

I don't have a clue. I haven't played Epic40K or NetEpic; will be getting into Armageddon, but only once the finished rules have been released and its a long time since I played old style Epic (though I should still have all the cards).

SM2 or NetEPIC as they require more models than the other systems

4 Tactical Companies 2 Support Companies 1 Rough Rider Company 2 Detachments of Sentinels 2 Detachments of Bikes 1 Detachment of Ogryns 1 Detachment of Assault troopers 2 Detachments of Ratlings Loads of command stands (pyschers/commissaers/etc) and ?other misc stuff (beastmen/etc)
1 Company of Stormblades 1 Company of Stormhammers 1 Company of Leman Russes 1 Artillery (Basilisk) Comapny 2 Shadowswords Superheavies 2 Hydra Batteries 1 Bombard Battery 1 Deathstrike Missile Battery 3 Marauder Bombers 3 Thunderbolt fighters
Tech-Support - 10 Knights 3 Warlord Titans 1 Imperator Titan
Probably one of the smaller Guard armies on the board, but all very dedicated to the Emperor

Hi!
I'd bet with a couple of more people we can get to one million points easy, epic players tend to collect lots of minis!
