Whoa-ho-ho. The army lists are up.
I would recommend browsing the unit stats for the pics, if nothing else. I've only started, but I'm very pleased. I especially dig the new Stompa model, but I'm sure many others will be good iimprovements.

It's only going to be available through GW stores?!? Arrrrrrgh! ^*%#! Well, I was hoping to buy some of this stuff, but now I'm not too thrilled about it. There are no GW stores in my city (Portland, Oregon, USA). I never used to have trouble getting Space Marine or Titan Legions stuff, but I see that times have changed, and getting tiny little Terminators is going to be harder than I though...

Drool, the new rule book sections are kick ass! I'm gonna spend hours looking through them...
I may even print them!
Cheers

Is anyone else having problems loading section 5.3? I got the rest fine, but I've tried twice today, a couple of hours apart, and it refuses to load.

I think I'm going to build a formation of "Deth Wheelz" like on the first page of the Ork section. I even happen to have a bunch of bitz that will work.
I have no idea why, but that picture makes me really want a Speed Freeks army.*
Buggies and Bikes and Dethwheelz, oh my!

Hi!
The layout of the rules and army lists are quite nice, much better than the last version.
Legion4, buying from GWUS mail order is easy, but
a. You cant see and hold before you buy, pictures are nice but it cant beat holding in your hands.
b. No discounts via GW, which I might add is becoming more and more of an issue with GW customers, new and old.

I'd feel like I had to order a bunch of stuff at once to justify the shipping costs, so I'd have to wait to save the money. If it was in the store, I could casually plunk down $6 (or whatever) for a blister of metal terminators without having to do any heavy thinking. Plus I feel virtuous supporting my local hobby shop; which is locally-owned, so some of the money stays in the local economy, rather than being syphoned off to the east coast somewhere... Oh well, I guess it just means I'll be impulse-buying 28mm daemons instead of 6mm space marines. I'm sad that the Epic renaissance that I'd anticipated evidently is NOT going to happen. Why did I have to invest in the Doomed games (SM2, Man O' War)?

Hi!
Pariah press brings a good point on impulse buying, you just cant do that online. Only at a LGS can you see things which you may not even guess existed and open that game to impulse buying and perhaps long term players.
A game only sold through GW severely limits expose, especially in the US.

Hi!
I know Tas, its really sucks. The news that it would be distributed in GW AUS was the first indication on how GW wasn't going to fully support epic. I think its ridiculous that one of GW's "parts" will not sell the game...just plain dumb.
