Hi!
Epic was always traditionally sold in blisters of several models (except really large models, which were sold one per pack). The availability of individual models came later in Epic's history. I think, for starters, it will be just blisters, perhaps later they'll make it available as single pieces, but I agree that will be mail order only.

I just copied and pasted this from the E-A forums:
http://uk.games-workshop.com/40kuniv...._ID=884
As I understand it Forge World are planning on trying to do some 'Heresy Period' Titans, which is what the old plastics represent. Fanatic is also thinking about doing some Mars pattern Titans, which would represent the 41st millennia version of the Heresy pattern. Jervis Johnson Head Fanatic |
I don't know if he means Epic, but we can always hope...
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Was it not Ulthwe being released after Biel Tan, with Chaos, as the craftworld is situated near the EoT..? -This was the impression I got from mentions here and on the playtest forum....

(2) S.M. Drop Ship (Basically a giant drop pod that can carry tanks ...) |
It's nice that the game will finally be receiving dropships besides the Thunderhawk.
Speaking of which, I now have a small fleet of old "Flying Brick" 1rst edition Thunderhawks that I'm not sure what to do with.
I'm thinking of converting them into platoon-sized dropships.
What do you, gentlemen, think?
Shalom, Maksim-smelchak.

Hmm... personally I think the old T-hawks are dreadful, and I think it would be quite difficult to convert them into a mega-dropship....
Perhaps you could give us a better idea of what you plan to do Maksim...?

I would do two things with them
(a) bin them (b) sell them on eBay for (hopefully) silly amounts of money; though more likely now you will only get a few cents for them...
they are awful
actually there isn't a Thunderhawk model I actually like...
I saw the ForgeWorld WH40K scale version recently (which is big) and I didn't like that either... whereas the Valkyrie is gorgeous.
ah well that's my opinion (and I am almost always right)

My friend, did not glue the wings on and instead put tracks on the Thunderhawk 1 and we use it as a Squat tank. Looks kind of cool

I have two of these travesties, and I hate them too (although I like the third edition of the thunderhawks and dont like the other one). I suppose that they could make good Squat Land Train cariages...
