hmm, does it not appear full screen?
Adding options for video resolution is one of the things I plan to do to the menu.

For now, go to the directory tabletop and open up the file config.cfg in a text editor. Near the bottom are a couple of lines saying:

"vid_height" "900"

and

"vid_width" "1440"

This sets the screen resolution, so change it to whatever your resolution is.

Got it. For some reason the config file in the My Games directory didn't have those lines in it, and so it was defaulting to 640x480. Cut and pasted the config file from the download directory, adjusted as you said, and all was well. :)

Oh, point of clarification - if one creates a new army for the game, does your opponent need the files as well?

Anyone else want the a copy? I'm away from tomorrow, so get in quick!

Perhaps send it round to the others who mentioned being interested earlier in the thread if you haven't already?

If two different people add an army does one of them need to combine the work into the installation to use them both? I'd like to try making some armies (not 3d ones for simplicities sake, I'll leave that to others), did you draw the sprites or find them online somewhere?

Fancy trying a game sometime tomorrow Simulated Knave?

Looks great! The config file doesn't seem to be respecting the screen dimension values though...

Any machine built after about 1996 should be able to run it with ease. :-)

Mine's a fair ways newer than that, but its a laptop with a combined graphics/sound card, and in my experience, it totally freaks out about things it otherwise shouldnt, but it might work, and i'm willing to give it a shot

I've converted a Minotaurs Land Raider sprite, first one for the army :) I'm not free afterall tomorrow, but if any of you want to try a game anytime the day after let me know.

Do the bases have to be round or is it possible for rectangular and square ones to be created?

If anyone's playing someone else in a different time zone make sure to check out the time difference properly.

I was meant to playing Simulated Knave this morning, but we miscalculated by an hour and missed each other.

I've got it but I'm a total novice at Epic:A - used to play second ed years ago. Read the rules but haven't played yet - will have tau and nid armies sorted over the next couple of months.

I'd definitely be up for running through one of the practice missions or something short and sweet to test the program. Also, I've got young kids that don't seem to need sleep to function!

A two or three hour slot from about 9pm GMT on any week night would suit me perfectly if that's of interest to anyone?

I can arrange to be free most weekends, and can probably be free on some weeknights (though not many). I'm at GMT -6, so weeknights start at about 11PM GMT.

9pm GMT would be 7am here, so a bit early, but possibly. I'm not sure if I'm working or not next week yet, I'll get back to you if I'm free. I'm familiar with the rules and am happy to teach and play a training scenario. I've been teaching others locally recently.

Me and SK didn't end up playing today after missing each other, but we tested connecting and doing stuff and it works fine.

Ok Glyn - sounds possible. I could also do 10-1 or 2 if that would be easier...
