It might be diplomatic for one of us to go and make ourselves known as in my experience managers are far more likely to help out recognised regulars. I have WH army up in London and have fancied giving it a spin anyway, do you have a WH army?

WH as in Warhammer as in Fantasy? Fraid not, the closest thing I have is an unfinished 40k army.
Well I was a regular but then I moved home for a few months after Uni and since then most of the staff have moved on, but I'll try to pop in at some point in the next few weeks and talk to them. Normally they are reasonable chaps. I think the idea of advanced notice or once a month is a good plan, so maybe we should try that. Once a month for one or two tables can't be that bad can it?
Could always volunteer to try and take the less popular slots of the evening, whether that's early or later I don't know. I don't know if booking is possible but with warning you'd think it'd work.
