New Epic is great. Rules work (if a little fuzzy in places) and i have enjoyed playing all the games so far.......... cant complain.

I've only played using the downloaded rules... that said, I've played more games of Epic in a week than I have of 40k in the past year, probably two. Great fun.

Played my first EpicA skirmish, 500 points of guard vs orks, and semi convinced my opponent to continue upping the points as we get used to the system. Our plan is to get the system down, then try to convince the rest of the group. Anyhow, my one guard formation (Inf company + leman russ squadron) got seriously kicked by a warband and a small KoS formation. I have learned that guard companies kinda suck without cover and support, because his warband just came across the table and kicked the poo outta my formation. Still, it was a lot of fun, and better than Epic 40k by a long shot.

Yes. The Ork stuff is so much fun to customize and play with. I think Krooza has us all beaten out for cool conversions though.
