Yes I was after ideas for what you guys were going to use them as. Remember, I haven't played SM or netepic etc, so am not familiar with what rules have been used in the past. And even in Epic40K, I never had anything to do with Orks. (I was a pansy worshipper)
So, what would you guys think for rules? I've had a little think. Painboyz could give the ability of invulnerable to a stand, representing them healing wounds.
Shokk attack gunz (I dont know what they did before) could have the ability of disrupt.

Hi!
The equivalent effect of this unnit in later rules would be that of "disruption". So whatever effects you give it along those lines would be in keeping with what the model used to do.
For general information, the shokk attack gun, in the old days, opens a limited warp gate to where frenzied snotlings frazzled by their short warp trip immediately come out the other side and atack whatever is there. It was translated in close combat with bonuses for addtional attackers if any. If you where lucky the targeted unit would be destroyed because the warp gate open up "inside" the target, with very nasty results.

He he, that sounds good fun.
I know Jervis had to abstract a little for the Orks, but surely it wouldn't have been hard to have a painboy as an upgrade 0-1 giving invulnerable to the Nobz/warlord stand. And so on for Weirdboyz etc.

i think it is a mistake to remove the character models. ?I love them, they add spice and variety even if there aren't any rules for some of them. ?Rank and file is boring, and nothing is more cheesy than a tactical marine with a banner on him. ?I think this will just make the Epic40k ones worth more. ?I think when players do get the new sprues they'll think they are boring. ?I think the Epic40k ones are just the best period.

As I said, we use each Tech, Lib., etc. on a separate stand as in SM2. We even use Pain Boy/Mad Doc., Mekboy, Warphead, Weird Boy, etc. for Orks, and Cypher for Chaos. Just use your imagination. We do use Shokk Attack Gunz as Big Gunz ... an easy fix ...

Even if it had added a MW attack and invulnerability, it still would have been better to just buy more nobz/boyz for the points. Heck, even with MW, invulnerability, reinforced armor, and thick rear armor, it still would have been better.
