i personally like this new warhound. I do not like the hooves much, but it's the only thing i consider disapointing. Titans are holy warengine that take many years to build, and as the armed fist of the machine god, they would certainly receive many blessing and decoration for their deed... as such purity seals are fine with me. I recently looked back in some old WD (about issue 113 to 123), lots of AT/SM stuff, and there was lots of seals, banners, and such all over the titans. There is even background explaining that the seals are made to look like wax but arn't.
Anyway, most of those seals could easily be filed out if you want to. The legs and their position, and the shape of the torso, are true to the original warhound while still sligtly different, the model is much more detailed. the head is way better detailed, and much less cartoony than the original, which looked more like it was alive than if it was cockpit (which made the original Warhound sligtly too chaotic to my taste for an imperial machine). I can understand how the gun in the mouth may not be to the liking of some, but it remind me of the old "combat head". Once painted i think it won't be as chocking as it seems on this unpainted model.
I really love the great imperial eagle on the back; the assymetry let a large space on the other side if we want to apply some heraldy or complex scheme (stripes for example).
The little bastion and guns on the sides of the head are very nice too; i think it help capture the dark and gothic feeling of the 40K universe.
My main regret, however, is that the main weapon don't look like we'll be able to mount them facing in various directions. I really dislike this on the old warhound, it made it the only titan i disliked in the old range, but i'm afraid this horrible limitation will be back.
