Are chaos bikes and dreads really needed? - Given they could just be converted from current SG vehicles relatively easily in the same manner as the main chaos/marine tanks.

In the US fair use of copyrighted material is quite varied, depending on situation, intent and media.  There are few hard standards.  Sometimes backup or archive copies are allowed.  Sometimes a portion of a work can be reproduced in another, e.g. music sampling.

However, you are correct that copying entire minis, regardless of intent, is illegal.

Out of curiosity, is there some central thread or subforum for seeing what the TacCom sculptors have on offer? I'd very much like to support you guys.

I see a few threads floating around in the trade forum. Is that where most of that stuff ends up?
