Sorry guys, got back from the islands then Katrina and Rita took me away from home again. But I am home again and hoping there are no more problems that pull me away again (Jaldon looks left then right and holds breath  )

Icon Questions

Colossus/Gyrocopter link: Based on the coherancy of the Colossus, as per the normal rules for WE coherancy so 30cm.

Mega-Cannon: 30cm-180cm on IDF.

Land Train: The Engine and all it's cars are treated as a single formation, just like two Warhounds are treated as a single Scout Titan Formation.

Hena Questions

Colossus/Gyrocopter: No it cannot split fire, if the IDF is used and the WE's direct fire weapons cannot see the target they cannot fire.

Trikes: Sorry, yes they should be LV.

I'll get to work on proof reading the present three lists, and then I'll e-mail you a copy Hena. Or if you prefer you can e-mail me and I'll go over what you have done. :)

Unless there is another major disaster stateside I should be home for awhile, few months at least, still haven't had a chance to get those two new programs for my 'puters and get them loaded. Just got home today, really.

Jaldon :O

Thanx Jaldon... anything about the second part of my first question? Here it is again:"What's the effect of the Gyro's spotting? All Colossus weapons become "indirect fire" as long as they fire to something spotted by the Gyro? That applies to all weapons or only the barrage ones? The Colossus has to take a Sustained Fire action to use this sorta of Indirect Fire or the Gyro's spotting is the only prerequisite?"

Yes, to perform any kind of IDF fire in Epic-A a unit must be on sustained fire, however sustained fire doesn't prevent the Gyro from popping up to do the spotting for the Colossus, which is the method used by most players.

No, only the D'Day Cannon and the Missiles can perform the IDF, at this time, but we have experimented with all of it's weapons being IDF in this situation. The compalint is that it makes the Colossus too powerful for it's cost. Must put in my notebook to clarify that in the re-write I am working on.

Thanks,

Jaldon :O

Some more quick questions:
1) Do the Colossus weapons double range as normal when IDfiring as per the "Gyro Spotting" rule? (so that the D'day cannon goes to 240cm and the plasma missiles to 120cm)

2) Does the Rad Bomb shot roll to hit a WE half the times of it's initial HP as per the Barrage rules or not? (I know it's not a barrage, but there's a template, so maybe...)

3) As far as I know there's no model of the Thunder Battle Car of the land Train... What do you use for that (or, what model am I missing? :( )

Thanx, Icon.

No, it only allows the weapons to engage targets they cannot see.

No, it is used just like a flamer template would be used, sorry :/

Ah, the model was produced for a very short period of time just prior to the creation of the Roman Empire for the game Ephicanicus Armagaddicus :alien:

But seriously, we took a Bezerker Battle Car and added spare gun barrels to the castle loops on both sides to create the Thunder Battle Car.

Jaldon :p

Question concerning the three different Army lists:

Is it correct, that in the "Thurgrim's" List the "Super Heavy Tank Battery" belongs to the Supports -
while in the "Khazak's" and "Gharmul's" List the "Super Heavy Tank Battery" belongs to the Supports WE?

(This would result in the 1/3-of-the-points-restriction for the second and third list: (Supports WE)-
but not for the first (="Thurgrim's" List):(Supports))

Hy. I'm newer here (but old to the Epic system - since 1991:D ). I want to thanks mr JALDON (& Friends of course!) for his great job with Squats. I have "just" 22000 points wort of models in the SM/TL and I really need to use them! :p
My simple questions are: 1) Thorgrim & Khazak are in their final versions with the 5.1 or they are still "work in progress"? (this because I'm currently doing a 2.2c Army Builder Squat file...a very long work!!)
2) After seeing the data of squat units, I noticed tha Doom Missiles and Plasma Missiles use the same stats? It's this correct? Also, in the SM/TL era those were "ONE SHOT WEAPONS", why not now? I also noticed that the Leviathan lost his 4 Void Shields, right?
All in all a very balanced army list. Thank you again, and sorry for so many English text errors (I learned some English stuff at school here in Italy...:p )
