Always thought Wisdom came from Experiance, thus why older people were thought to have more wisdom, they had more life experiance.

Course that could be wrong.

Has there ever been a thread that stayed on topic after three pages?

I heard an essay just yesterday regarding that issue.  There was a line that I particularly appreciated.  It was from the author, a woman, addressed to younger women and had a very poetic turn of phrase to end the essay:

...when you are older,
and ready for scars
and knowledge.

Maybe it's just the former English Lit major in me,   but I hope you guys enjoy it, too.

Thats why I tend to read just about all of the threads, regardless of the topic. You never know where a thread may end up! ?:-:

EDIT: I just noticed I was promoted! Hooray!

Well done Sgt!

I was promoted last week too, but preferred my old Title.  I guess "Admiral" had a nice ring about it for me...

Oh come now, like I would know how to be the Master of the Fleet?  ???
