Considering I own pretty much everything in that photo, I could do that ;). However, I have no intention of doing so.

More seriously, I can't say that I can see the comparison either.

Man, that brings back very fond memories!
Still remember having the most fun with the 'The Fright Zone' playset, that rubber sock puppet snatching foolish He-Man was so wicked! Hehe ^-^

I was never into action figures. More of a straight Lego person at that age. And while the reference was meant as a humorous comment, I do think that toyification of aesthetics is becoming an issue in what little I see of the GW Hobby (tm).

@Nitpick - I agree. About 10 years ago I was a huge 40K player and had a large SM Space Wolf force (which I sold when I was 18, but kept the Epic stuff even though I had never played) I toyed with getting back into 40K but for me its all got a bit generic. I dont know if its because in my 10 year absence other companies have produced products like GW stuff (not just for gaming but also for media, other toys etc) which has diluted the impact the old models had, or if GW have dulled things down to make it appeal to wider market. Either way its a shame.

PS - I was more of a Lego man too :)
