Hey there, I'm an Epic player tht lives about 80 miles west of you, just outside Springfield, MA.

There is a group of about a dozen players that live in Worcester/western mass/CT area. We get together about once every 1-2 months, usually in Hartford Worcester, for a day of Epic games. I'm actually doing ok on grots, I happen to have 8 stands worth of spares. I have all sorts of epic ork odds and ends, not enough for a legal army but enough that I don't need to get much new stuff to play. I basically plan on getting an ork infantry box and orkeosaurus from SG, and a used, older style gargant to use as a steam gargant. That should put me at 1k points. Alternatively, to save money, I could replace the orkeosaurus and/or steam gargant with extra warbands or extra junkas because I'll have a lot of spare boys and old-fashioned battlewagons lying around. I'm just glad I have enough old plastic guys to avoid buying either the metal ork character or feral ork packs. Happened to find 18 plastic boars, and a wide selection of plastic orky heroes, which came with lots of extra ork heavy weapon boys for some reason. I also have a bunch of kommandos and stormboys. Not sure what I'll do with those, other than save them for trades or maybe paint them for an alternate list of regular orks. Might mix the kommandos to make some madboys, or play them as regular bloodaxe boys.
