Hi,
If it's cool I would like to pop along on Tuesday to battle with my chaos army (complete but not fully painted) with a friend who I am trying to get into Epic. I have a spare space marine army if you need me to bring it along. I must admit though that I am rather green myself.

Hi bob. Just turn up man.
The Central London Wargamers is a pretty chilled club. No pre-booking of tables, no table fee, no club membership fee. No nothing. In fact the guys like to clarify this situation by pointing out they're not a club at all. Just a bunch of guys.
Make sure you buy a few drinks at the bar though, or the landlady will get miffed. It's what count's as payment for us being there!
