After having received Raider I can safely say I'll want a copy of Siege to. More than C but not as much as B. Ie I want it but can only pay when I got the money for it, I can't prepay.

Does that mean that the Raiders book is all balanced or are there concerns in that one as well?

I can only comment on the list I wrote for Raiders, the Minervan Tank Legion Imperial Guard list.

In that list, there is just one unit I would consider genuinely overpowered (The Stormhammer), and it is due to be revised soon by the current army Champion (Moscovian).

Certainly more balanced than the armies in Swordwind when it was released!  *LAUGH*

"Raiders" is about to reach its "one year" assessment point, so discussion/testing about the lists will be occuring then.  The Necrons are already being discussed in their EA forum.

It would be great to keep this On-Topic, but to briefly answer your question:
A. Dark Eldar are considered balanced and were given the green light by the NetERC.
B. Minervans have some small internal balance issues, but externally is balanced
C. Necrons are still slightly overpowered and you can follow the discussion link posted above

All of these will be revised in some capacity at the one-year point but the revisions will be small and easy to follow - it will fit on one page.  Even the core armies received some revisions as did the Swordwind armies, so this should not be a big surprise to anyone.  And since I have virtually every email of every person who ordered Raiders, I can ensure that the revision pdf will go out to everybody when it is complete.

If anyone wishes to discuss Raiders further, let's put it in the appropriate threads or in this general thread on supplements.

I definitely want a copy and I wouldn't be surprised if my nephew wants one as well.

What was the cost for Epic: Raiders again? Because two guys from the German Epic-Battles.de community want a copy because the ymissed the first run.

Current orders from our community:
11 x Epic: Siege
2 or 3 x Epic: Raiders

I'll probably get a copy, assuming I have the cash.

Oh, good. The more people still want Raiders, the sooner there's another print run and I get my copy.

Raiders is $25 plus shipping.  And BlackLegion, thanks for keeping the support strong in Germany!  I can always count on you guys to come through strong. :D

Same book, they've just renamed The Siege of Mossino into Epic: Siege, a much better title because it fits with the pattern of having them entitled with generally and simply with what the book or the armies in it are about i.e. Epic: Raiders, Siege, Xenos, Black Crusade, ect.

Personally I think I might prefer this too. Or a dark, but faint brown (Scorched Brown sort of brown rather than a more mid Bestial Brown say), or just some kind of tinge of colour to the grey.

While grey is a Krieg colour it just gives the book the impression it was done on the be cheap to be part black and white (though actually would a more coloured background colour be more expensive in print costs?)
