The rigid codex structure of the Ultramarines made them an obvious choice for me when I decided to assemble an entire chapter. It was proably inspired by that pic in an old White Dwarf of the entire Ultramarines chapter in 40k scale. There was just something very "epic" about that pic I think.

Right now I prefer Dark Angles. Mainly because of the various paint schemes for Deathwing, Ravenwing, regular marines and scouts, that allows some nice variations compared to the Ultras.
