Who says a supplement has to be small or can't be big?  Almost half of Raiders is a modeling section and the Dark Eldar alone has a significant number of unit types.

LI, you and I spoke about doing a supplement a year ago and I am still of the mindset that it would be a very good one.  The Inquisition is such a prominent part of the 40K universe that it really should be covered.  If I had my druthers I would say at least one of the next four supplements should have some aspect of them.

Tau & Inquisition together?  It would be a great story to tell with some humans fighting on the Tau side and the Inquisition driving the IG forward to fight against their own blood.  THrow the Tyranids in there to make it really chewed up.  Something like that comes to mind.

I do believe that some human (or superhuman) element should be in each supplement.  In other words, Tau vs. Tyranids would do nothing for me.  But Tau, Tyranids, and Space Marines might be good.

I think we need some thing to the bring the tau and nids out of there shells a bit

we also have the release of the new 40k deamon codex which gives use great scope as we already have most of the modals and these would need little converion work.

it would be nice to get a supp with the chaos lists in it with photos an alike useing the SG lists

i think the squats are a good thing too an also think we need some thing to get the gray knights in s these are modals that are begging to bo used more
even if its a you may replace points costs when fighting chaos and dark eldar or some think in that vain

Inquisition and Red Corsairs wouldn't mix well. Inquisition and Chaos Daemons would be a better pairing.

I vote for Daemonhunters vs Chaos Daemons.

It's a no brainer really :)

Well, the obvious combinations are:

Daemonhunters vs Daemons (or other Chaos forces)
Alien Hunters vs Aliens (tau, tyranids, etc)
Witch Hunters vs Traitors (traitor guard, blood pact, red corsairs?)

I'm happy either way. In some ways it makes sense to put the three lists together as they share a lot of units. On the other hand, it fits well to split them up so as not to muddy the ordos together.

As for what I'd like to see, a supplement with AMTL, OGBM, and a section of optional rules for more detailed Titan games would be a dream come true.

With the Eldar titan legion added in as well would be a great mix.

Daemonhunters vs Daemons (or other Chaos forces)
Alien Hunters vs Aliens (tau, tyranids, etc)
Witch Hunters vs Traitors (traitor guard, blood pact, red corsairs?)

I am a big fan of that idea.

Of course there are also straight Codex's to do.
Codex Marines (Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Imperial Fists & Black Templars, Iron Hands (+ my far supieror successor chapter :) ), Salamanders, Raven Guard, Space Wolves, Ultramarines, White Scars and any other neat ideas) - (an objective for marine month?)
Codex Chaos (Alpha Legion, Black Legion, Death Guard, Emperor's Children, Iron Warriors, Night Lords, Red Corsairs, Thousand Sons, World Eaters, Word Bearers, Demons, Lost and Damned, Blood Pact)
Codex Guard (okay you get the picture)
Codex Eldar (tired of listing armies)
Codex Orks (waargh)
Codex 'other Imperial' (Titans, Navy, inquisition etc)
Codex Aliens (Tau, Necrons, Tyranids)

we should vote as this will give us a better idea of what peaple want

but i also belive we all want everything in it

this one should have a marine codex in it but the main
thing is to get those gray knights some were to play
these are poss the best modals avalible and we have nowear to put them.

but if we do the knights then i think that the deamons need to be included

just my thoughts

I wouldn't mind seeing more with the Tau in it, mainly cause I bought a bunch of Forge World Tau :). Also would be nice to see something with the Squats (demuirg, or what ever) but like someone said earlier, if you do a book with the Squats you need the Orks to be involved, it just makes sense. I am awaiting shipping cost on 2 books so I am helping contribute to funding this Great Cause....now if i can just convince some of the slackers around here to play epic rather than spending a fortune building 15k 40k armies to play apocalypse.

Yep, there a lot Tau & Kroot models out there (including mine SIB !) awaiting an Epic Codex ... :alien:  A little OT, but I find it amusing, that the fear of Epic dying out is a familiar topic. Yet, here the crew just wrote, published and paid for our own Codex. Plus two members have their 6mm Sci-fi lines. And a number of Boyz here make and cast their Epic models based on pics from F/W ...  And now we are trying to decide what our next Codex should contain ... Epic isn't dying ... it's Morphing ... Now to go back on Topic  -  Tau and Kroot I tell ya, for crying out loud ! :O  :alien:

Tau & Kroot could fight against... Alienhunters Inquisition and ... a variant IG list?

It's pretty much inevitable that all large suppliments will contain at least one IG list. :D

Why? A human element is required for each suppliment, sure, but it doesn't always have to be guard. Space Marines, Inquisition, Skittari etc...

Here are the supplement ideas I'm working on:

Army Books

Black Crusade - Black Legion, Stigmatus Covenant Cultist, Cadians, and Ulthw? Eldar

Hive War (working title) - Tyranids (Phase IV), Catachans, Iyanden Eldar, Undetermined Marine Army.

Unnamed Supplement - Imperial Crusade Army, Alaitoc Eldar, Daemon World Horde, Possible Undetermined Ork Army. ?(yhis one is far on the back-burner and quite subject to change)

Suggested army book:

Speed Freaks - Speed Freeks, Saim-Hann Eldar, White Scars, Undetermined Fast Imperial Guard Army.

Rules Supplements

Mission Critical (working title) - A book with rules for alternate scenarios and running campaigns with them.

Campaign Supplements

Red Queen Rising - A fifteen game campaign pack of Imperial forces trying to stop a horrific Tyranid invasion.

I've got a lot of other ideas percolating, but these are the main ones I've been thinking about.

My current ideas:

The Fall of Gryphonne IV
Tyranids (Hive Fleet Leviathan rules) versus AMTL & Skitarii.
Extensive sculpting guides for making your own nids, Ad-Mech war engines and Titan weapwns.

The Siege of Mossino (Redux)
TRC has offered his 'directors cut' siegemasters army list to spice up the Mossinian army list, plus it would have added guides on making your own Gorgon & Macharius conversions, and the last few GW pictures would be replaced.

I don't think a vote is necessary to determine which supplement to work on.  Somebody just needs to take charge of a project and see where it leads them.  The Army Champs will either be doing this or heavily involved (I can't think of an Army Champ that wouldn't be involved).
---
Chroma, is the final count going to be 4 armies then for the Black Crusade?  If so, I have questions about what you are planning to involve.
1. Modeling sections?
2. Painting sections?
3. Fictional story?
4. Scenarios?
5. Are the other champs involved?
6. Are you going to try to include the 13th Company or other lists?
Obviously the army lists and datafaxes will be a part of it.  Once you figure out which lists you are going with I recommend putting out a call for playtesting on the lists as well.  Maybe I am (more) blind but I really haven's seen much on the Cadians or Stigmatus lists.
