I was in my local GW today picking up paints (what else?) and the guy behind the counter asked me if I knew GW were going to be selling Epic as a box set again later in the year. I said I thought it was just rumour to which he backtracked and said "yes it is just a rumour, nothing confirmed yet". Hmm.

Well a GW employee in Reading hinted to me last autumn that Warmaster would be returning soon so I'm not sure they are the most reliable sources.

I see there are more rumours http://natfka.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/epic-launch-with-armageddon.html

The most disturbing but understandable from GW is that epic won't be epic scale, but 10mm. ::)

Yeah it's the same site again. Would be nice though 10mm is a scale I really enjoy as well as 6mm.

Hi!

If this ever materializes, remember that Primarch is on the record on several threads regarding this subject that is GW ever did redo epic they would change the scale to 10mm to invalidate all the older lines and force people to a new scale in order to buy into the game.

Too bad I can predict the power ball numbers.... ;)

Yes. The 10 mm "heroic" will probably approach 15 mm, a which point it will attract FoW-players and others who never got the point of 6 mm and true mass scale ::)

It's all wishful thinking IMHO. Move on, support the plethora of companies and individuals that have sprung up to fill the space GW left. :)

Hi!

Actually, given GW way of thinking things, doing 10mm is precisely what they'd think is necessary to invalidate such competition. Releasing another 6mm scale epic would just fuel the growth of similar 6mm companies as proxies.

10mm however would mean they are the only show in town. Typical GW thinking.
