Specialist Games seems to be back, consequently I digged out some EPIC minis and finished a HH Death Guard Cataphracti unit! The minis are a private sculpt of a fellow enthusiast and not commercially available.

Just to give an idea how good these are a comparison shot with a Forge World Termie.

One more thing, you may have noticed the round bases.
In a way I like them more than my usual FoW bases.

But I am still unsure.
What do you think? Round or square?

Are those the troublemaker games bases?

Very good fw termies, love the green and trim on them. First time I've seen those ones painted.

Yes, bases are from Troublemaker.

I prefer the FOW ones. They look more finished, probably due to the sand. Plus: More space for terrain extravanganza, round bases are more in style for horde armies (Orks, Tyranids etc) in my personal opinion.

I must admit, even though I like the look of the FoW bases, I find them very hard to pick up. The infantry proxies I have are delicate so I am using those round style bases as well because of the flat edges.

Thanks for the input, I agree - FoW is a pain to take and place!

Still - After long consideration I rebased the minis again to FoW bases, just to show more of the minis...

Mk III Power Armour!

And I rebased the Cataphracti, the round bases are a bit too crowded for my taste. I will stick to the FoW bases.

They look great! How are the MkIII's for detail compared to other fan sculpts?

Same quality as Mk IV and Cataphrati, means incredible good!
