Hi!
I need the opinion of the following vehicle:

Land Raider Terminus Ultra
Type: AV
Speed: 25cm
Armour: 4+
CC: 6+
FF: 4+

weapons:
3×twin lascannon 45cm AT4+
2×lascannon 45cm AT5+
hunter-killer missile 60cm AT4+/AA5+

Reinforced armour, thick rear armour

175 point / each (Land Raider upgrade +75 point / each)

A point value is ok? Change anything?

If you price a vehicle cost at 175 points (whether correct or otherwise), the upgrade cost will be in that vicinity.

So an upgrade could be as much as +125 to +175 points

It cannot be too cheap as although you have taken away the transport capacity, it hits AT very well with a lot of shots which is meant to be an uncommon thing.

I will not even pretend to like this vehicle, and with 6 shots per round, it leaves some War Engines wondering whether they are being outclassed. Remember this thing also gets a SR5, Init1+ and ATSKNF. Being bought as a single also allows it in a formation to garrison and start on Overwatch. These are just some of the things to consider when working out a cost. It is a lot better than a standard LR if you require the shots and not the transport capacity.

... A note on the upgrade... if it's replacing a land raider then the points are about right...

FF should probably be 6+ since the thing has no real close short range/AP weapons, the thing is just a heavy gun boat (tank). I'd drop the hunterkiller too, Ni on all imperial vehicles can take them, none of them have it.

If it's 0-1 per Landraider formation, it wouldn't be too bad however it is a very strong tank (on advance odds are you get 2 AT hits per turn, 3 on sustain.) That thing has a 70cm threat range too.

I made up a Terminus for inclusion in the Apocrypha of Skaros.

Its stats were the same as yours, but I left off the HK missile. I charged between 100 and 125 points for it, depending on the list version. Of course, I'm erring on the side of "I'm a lot more likely to hear if it's too cheap than the reverse".

Honestly, if I could have given it fewer shots, I would. So I'd definitely recommend leaving off the HK missile.

Seconded on FF6+ and dropping the Hunter Killer Missile - that shouldn't be represented in Epic.

150ish as an upgrade could be a starting price to test and I would probably add the option to Devestator, Land Raider and Predator formations. They're meant to be rare and to stop them altering things too much I would make them 0-1.

The FF is 6+
Cost: +150 point / each
In my opinion, not worth more, it is worth two and a half Land Raider. It is true that many shots, but only one armour save and no transport capacity.

The HK missile isn't standard, anyway. Non-standard upgrades virtually never get included in Epic. Plus, it makes the thing a lot more useful - and you want this to be weaker, not stronger.

Personally, I think FF4+ (or 5+) is still quite justifiable. The ordinary LR only has two TLLCs and the TLHB, after all - an extra TLLC and two more LCs ought to be worth a fair bit in a firefight (they're certainly as dangerous as five Guardsmen or five Assault Marines).

is there any way of mimicking the 'power overload' rule from 40K. does epic have a 'gets hot' equivalent?

Yesterday I tried the Terminus Ultra.
Not worth 250 points, because efficiency is nowhere near the Warhound.
Max 200 points.

Why that high? I thought you'd costed it at as a 150 point add-on to a formation?
